The Light of the Silver Dragon was started when Ryan and I were so excited to be moving forward into Lord of the Rings Online. The game itself is wonderful and full of enjoyment and exciting adventures. We have loved the many journeys that we have been on with those that are still a part of LotSD as well as the ones that have moved on.

But it is now time for Ryan and I to move on from this adventure. I sadly am announcing that the Light of the Silver Dragon Kinship as far as as leadership is being disbanded (OoB in GW is not affected by this). For OoB, we will reconsider where we are once Guild Wars 2 releases though for now we are inactive (as you’ll know when you log in and see that no one has been on for over a month). The game is supposed to be something fun for us, and it has become more work and stress than anything. With my disability and Ryan’s high stress job there is no room left for more stress. And recently it seems that running this kinship has become much more stressful.

There will still be the forums here for us to chat and mostly for the original founders of Order of Bahamut to stay in touch while we wait for the release of Guild Wars 2. All are welcome to stay and keep in touch on these forums.  In game we will be able to keep in touch through the user chat channel lotsd. Ryan and I do not plan to stop playing LOTRO; however we are looking into a less crowded server to play on so we may be online in Landroval much less.

We will not immediately disband the kinship. We will pay maintenance on the kinship house through May. If anyone wishes to take the in-game kinship and start out on their own with it I will happily transfer leadership to you, just talk to me.
